Ready 2 Run Graphics & Signs is a Veteran-owned and Family-run business that specializes in producing and installing high-quality graphics and signs for companies around the state of Massachusetts.
The Sign Shop Apprentice will assist the production staff with the fabrication and installation of various signage within specified requirements and deadlines. Looking for someone who has a desire to work additional hours when available. Applicants must be able to collaborate with team members and communicate effectively throughout the process. The applicant must be able to optimize processes to meet the time demands of our customers. Resourcefulness is required to make on-site decisions that need creative solutions for installations.

Job Duties Include but are not Limited to

  • Support the Sign Shop Fabricator in the manufacturing and installation of vinyl graphics and other signage

  • Operating various printing, woodworking, and power tools to complete fabrication and installation

  • Strict attention to detail and awareness of quality standards; however, speed is important

  • Provide outstanding customer service

  • Maintain a professional look and demeanor

  • Complete administrative tasks necessary for tracking job progress and customer feedback

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance required in the daily operations

  • Job description/duties subject to change based on the needs and demands of the company

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3-4 years of experience in any trade job

  • Tech savvy

  • Ability to lift 50lbs plus

  • Ability to climb ladders 20+ feet, be in a bucket truck 50+ feet, and work comfortably at heights

  • Ability to operate power and hand tools

  • Ability to read shop drawings and follow the shop drawings for sign assembly

  • Ability to safely operate large vehicles and tow-behinds in city environments

Not Necessary but a bonus:

  • 3-4 years of experience in any trade job

  • OSHA 10 Certification

  • Ability to weed, mask, and apply vinyl

  • Paint booth operation

  • CNC machine operation

  • Large Format Printer Operation

  • Aerial Bucket truck certification

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (trade school desired)

  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license with a clean record

  • Clean Background check required

  • Must successfully complete a 90-day introductory period

  • Must be able to work overtime as required

  • This position is 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with flexibility to work outside those hours when required.
